For those that don’t know, the model 39 is the base model for what became the S&W model 52. The model 52 was developed for the Army Marksmanship Unit. For a long time the model 52 was ”the” bullseye gun. The model 39-2 is a solid performer. An all metal gun that is accurate and fun to shoot.
