A close friend of mine recently inherited this N frame S&W in .455 Webley, and he asked me to post it on the forum to sell.
The following information was offered from the fine folks at Smith-Wesson forum.
British Service Revolver, “.455 Mark II Hand Ejector-2nd Model” built under the British contract by S&W. Likely shipped around May 1916.
The grips are not original to this model, and a rear sight was added at some stage of it's life, nicely done I must add (Photos will be taken later).
Stamped on bottom of butt and end of cylinder 57580. The yoke & crane is stamped 2060. The lanyard ring was removed years ago.
The lockup is tight, the barrel lands are crisp with no pitting. It should be noted, the single action is one of the lightest I've tried.
$800 (price lowered from $1,050, to $900)
