H&R 1873 Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 single shot. This is a commemorative carbine manufactured in the 70s. It is The Little Bighorn edition. This is a copy of the carbine that Custer's troops carried into the infamous Little Bighorn Massacre. It has the tang sight and a removeable hand grip. $1000. The price is firm. If you do not like it, do not buy it. Very good shape. Will not respond to lower offers. I have some ammo I will include with purchase of the rifle. What you see is what you will get. NO box but it comes with a book that originally came with it.

Me like, like it a lot !!!!!
I’ve got the real deal in 50-70 Govt that I would like to know the history of and often wonder if it was ever used to drop a buffalo or fired in self defense against a war party out west.
Somebody needs to find a place in their safe or on the wall for your rifle, I’ve shot many deer with 45-70 in an old single shot H&R , it’s a a great meat getter.
