    Your Winchester M1917 could be a Canadian Lend Lease, due to the red paint band on the forend of the stock to distinguish it was 30-06 and not a Brit P14 303. See if has cartouches on the pistol grip area and on the right side buttstock area of a “C w/ arrow” going through it? These usually bring a little more than normal ones
