If he goes forward with the no income tax and increased tariffs $hit will hit the fan in Washington. Because it will slash the BS budget and the politicians will lose the cash cow. This is a huge deal.

Be even better to MAKE them balance and reduce the deficit.
Buffet said that he could fix the deficit in one swoop. Make all politicians ineligible to run for relection if it's in a deficit... Hollywood fantasy but wouldn't it be nice.
They'll still have the ability to invest in the market their legislation manipulates. And the contributions, donations, and "gifts" from benefactors and lobbyists.

The reason they want Trump gone?
Because he has a track record, in and out of government, of fixing problems whatever they are. He then moves on to the next thing. If problems got solved, like building a wall, or ending a war, or drill baby drill, or inflation, there would be no need for career politicians. What is congresses platform? "I will fight for you." If problems are solved. . . . you fill in the blank.

Yes - if you are doing your job well, you get rewarded. In this case, you get to run for re-election. If not, get the fug out.
And I don't care about the tariffs. I mean, we, the US economy, subsidize the rest of the free world already. Let's incentivize domestic production and domestic consumption of domestic goods!
Kennedy started pulling troops out, Trump promises too. He's not in the status quo and they have no control over him. Just look how fast they disappeared O'Brandon! Still don't know how that's gonna help. I don't believe for a second this is over, they'll ramp up from here and not even care if it looks like an accident.
