If you used an impact driver, I understand @Duckyou is issuing refunds.

But processing times....could be a while.

I never said to torque more than the recommended amount. If you miss use a tool, it is not the tools fault.

But - we are currently processing complaint 1. Your number would be 108,891.

We are experiencing a longer than expected wait times, so please leave your number and we will get back to you.

This IS true. Did you have an "inch pound" impact driver?

I'm not the Great Carnac, but I'm seeing a lot of denied claims here.

Bought my first red dot. Do you guys bother to torque them to the specifications ? Which tool do you use?

I have a Vortex torque screw driver. I've used it on my rings, long range optics and LPVOs. My holos are quick release so I just tighten until they stay put and leave it at that. I've only used a regular torque wrench on my AR barrels.

But, honestly, get a good torque tool. Scope tubes/internals are way more fragile than you'd think when force is over applied to the rings.

Years ago, I heard a scope's internals "pop" at a shop where a young man, who clearly didn't know what he was doing, was allowed to install a customer's scope without adult supervision.

The Wheeler Fat Wrench is a good option. It has a long history of success. However, the Real Avid is another option.

Midsouth now carries the Smart TORQ Wrench from Real Avid. The Smart TORQ Wrench is a technically advanced torque driver for precision mounting optics and gun accessories

Always best to follow manufacturer specs, if not possible 15 to 20 INCH pounds
