I see alot of crusty parts kits and some nice ones on gunbroker. I wonder if they are chopping the receivers and selling the parts??? I actually bought a bersa 380 cc parts kit to replace her silde with a nicer one. Got all the parts except the frame and mag. $28. I'll throw the old wacked up one on ebay, maybe make my money back, lol.

I have a few parts that might just classify as a "gun" for whenever the next buyback occurs. I can't wait!
This. I have collected over the years enough "spare parts," that to the untrained eye, could be said to be a gun.

Same reason I keep a roll of 14" flat washers in the truck to pass along to the panhandlers that clog intersections for donations.

Is it against the law in FLA to go to buy backs and buy guns from the people who show up?

Whenever I buy/trade and end up with a broken gun, or one breaks that would be costly to repair, I sell the parts on eBay and always have gotten pretty much the value of gun if not more, depending on make/model.
Great idea. I'm sure that loophole will be closed. 'Cause, if we aren't doing anything wrong...

Well, you can't sell the receiver or serial numbered part. or anything that is illegal in California. Basically, your just selling parts that you can mail order most anywhere.
I have had guns listed here for a month or more, no interest. Sell on line and get more that I wanted. I can't think of a part that didn't sell eventually.
