Been using my HK VP9 as my daily carry the past couple of days and tried a couple of IWB holster rigs and settled on this one from Hybrid Holster.

It’s comfortable and I can wear it with shorts or jeans with a good heavy belt.

Was out checking out a new motorcycle repair shop today and decided to stop by a local gun shop and they had a used VP9SK with 4 mags and night sights. I asked about the price and it was on consignment and the owner was open to any H&K trades, so I offered one of my full size VP9’s and he accepted. I had to pay a $40 transfer and the $5 federal check fees and I was out the door with my new SK, I am a happy camper.

Decided to stick with my VP9SK as my daily carry, tried switching to the HK 45C for a week, but it’s just too heavy to lug around all day.

For all you HK VP9 users out there who daily carry, here is what I use with my VP9SK. I have a hidden hybrid and a cross breed IWB holsters and they work great even wearing shorts and I am a big guy.

Back to carrying my VP9SK as my EDC, this one has a Mepolight sight setup installed on it, I have the quick detach mounting plate, but no optic. Going to start looking on eBay to see if anyone has just the Red Dot optic for sale and I can just bolt it on the plate I already have.

Ran 50 rounds through my HK V9 range gun, the new trigger feels great. Also had target night sights and a flared mag well installed at the same time I had the trigger work done. Had an issue with the trigger install, but they took care of it and it shoots great. I am happy with the results.

My new IWB holster for my HK VP9SK showed up from Raw Dog tactical, nice well made holster for the money.
