Yesterday I picked up a NIB Bersa 380 for $200. Today I made arrangements to meet with a man to buy some 22 lr ammo from him tomorrow.

Dreaming of next build and when I'll be able to afford it! Daytona Bike Week is coming up in a few weeks and its going to eat up some cash, and jeep needs some new parts too. Damn it I've got too many hobbies!

Went out to the farm today and shot some 180 grain Hornady JHP Power Shot bullets in the AR 358 MGP, finally got to the top end of 1680 at 2,582 fps, but with a blown primer. Then ran some 225 grain bullets with the plastic tips cut off to make mag length. 32 gr of 1680 produced 2,137 with a .235 group at 100. More work, more work for the big bullets and a soon start at sub sonic speeds.

DAMN !! Great group. Tell me ... how wide is a grop that measures .235" if the bullets diameter is .358" ?? Pretty small I would guess. Kinda one not really ragged hole ?? --- SAWMAN

Measuring center to center. Measure outside to outside, then subtract the diameter of the bullet.

Even with measuring that way, they would almost still have to be stacked on each other.

So he's shooting a .358 caliber projectile. His grouping is .235" so we add .358 to .235"= .593" grouping at 100yards. That's an amazing grouping while developing loads. Not saying impossible. Guess he found his "unicorn tear" loading! Not saying he didn't do it. Just good shooting.

    I just got my popcorn!
