Sold my night vision, and ordered a FFP Bushnell 1-4 optic, with a burris pepr qd mount. Great glass for the money.

Went to the Oak Ridge range and shot my Marlin 30-30 and my Stag AR. i bit rusty on the AR, but tighter groups on the Marlin. ENJOYED IT!!

I've gotta keep it at least a month. The barrel is in Berryville. Not sure this one will be going anytime soon. Ive said forever that a bobtail commander LWv45 is the best 1911 configuration for carry that there is. I even had one, a Nighthawk, the only reason I let that one go is because Wilson really treated me well and I decided to go all Wilson. I do not regret that decision at all now, and I'm excited to have this awesome little carry gun.

Actually, the absolute best carry gun I've ever had was the S&W M&P 360. But I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with that thing. Lol.

What is a M&P 360 ?

It's a lightweight 357 J-frame with a proper hammer. Mine had crimson trace laser grips from the factory and a XS big dot front sight. I got it at Gander, and can't find the exact configuration of the S&W website, but this is as close as I can get:

Great little gun, but I've never been able to shoot snub noses with their trench sights worth a damn. Feels like I'm aiming at the dirt. Hate it. A 3" 357 model 60 with proper sights is badass though, but quite a bit heavier. I just stick to 1911s since that's what I shoot the best.

I broke down and went to Santa Rosa Shooting Center this morning very first thing. I took out the AR I just installed the new LaRue Tactical MBT into and my latest M16A1 clone. I will say this, the LaRue MBT is an absolutely sweet trigger. Very light and crisp. For those of you that have a Geissele trigger, you definitely need to look into trying the MBT from LaRue. My M16A1 clone did very well as was expected. Hopefully, I will be able to get the XM16E1 clone done in a few weeks and get it out there.

So my buddy called me today and said that Mid-south shooter supply called him yesterday about a back-order for Tightgroup that was made almost a year ago. two 8# kegs. They wanted to know if he still wanted them. Well, hell yes we still want it. They even honored the price of $115ish per bottle. So it will be just over $130/8#s after we split shipping and hazmat. So, cool! that we have more pistol powder coming but even more cool that mid-south seems to be a damn good company to work with.
