Picked up a used RCBS PowderMaster electronic dispenser yesterday for $80. Got it calibrated and running this afternoon. My 45-70 and 270 loading just got a lot easier.

    Wow $80 very nice.

Try 40-50 rounds from a 45/70. That's my next range trip....

Let me know when you'll be there, so I can make sure that I'm not. I might be tempted to do something stupid and shoot it. Hell, my shoulder is still sore. I think I'll stick with those "pleasant" 5.56 & 7.62X39 shooters.

Very nice! That's the one that doesn't have a scale built in, right? Do you set the volume and dispense the powder into a scale sitting next to it?

I picked up a Gen 2 CZ P07 yesterday, sold a scope, swapped a few parts on my SV, then took it to the range for a function check. Good gun day!

Correct. It has a detached scale that communicates via infrared to control the flow and weight. Ran several test weights and checked them on my beam scale. Every single one came out perfect.

Oh, cool! I didn't realize it has a scale that came with it, especially one that communicates. Welcome to the big time, sir! Pretty soon, you won't be able to live without it!

I did not do any gun stuff today, but I did do some related stuff. I bought a new Multi-cam Condor Tactical Belt to put my thigh-rig holster on. I had to re-adjust the straps to fit my leg since I had lost more weight since the last time I sized it. I also had to resize by plate carrier rig as well. Fits much better now. I will have to get a pic of me wearing the whole ensemble.

Today, I went to SRSC with EGordon to zero our Aimpoints (I had sold my H-2 and replaced it with a T-1), in preparation for Sunday's sidematch. Took me 14 rounds total. For a 2moa red dot, un-magnified at 100 yards, a 1.5" group is just fine by me.

I'm definitely loving the LT751 mount, which allows for absolute cowitness and a more natural height above the bore as compared to the LT660 and therefore faster target acquisition. It's also lighter supposedly, and it's good in the spirit of keeping my 6.25lb rifle light, but I can't actually tell.

I also finally put back ups on my 556, a CSAT rear, which I was really excited about, but it turns out that the CSAT aperture is kinda silly since its part of the smaller peep, still cool though.

I also bought an Eotech Model 300 Blackout for my Supressed 300blk SBR project. I'm usually more of an Aimpoint fan, but this reticle is brilliant.

    And it looks kinda cool.

I'll be buying the upper tomorrow and the lower later this week.

What are the details here, that's the 1st I've ever seen of a gas black splitting in half...

Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
It actually is forged with the split... but you can see where the set screws failed, I don't think I torqued them down too much, just hand tight with an Allen wrench. 5 shots and the bolt didn't cycle. Put the gun on safe and the muzzle down and the gas block slid to the brake... cheap ass gas block.
