My new Ruger Marlin 45-70 with Bowers VAR50 suppressor. PSA has a killer sale on them. PAS is a bad influence on me.

Wore my Franken' rig out for the first time. Wider straps on the G&G really made the load feel lighter. They also stopped the strap rotation that the narrow Galco Lite harness had when getting in and out of vehicle. Worth the change for sure!

What gun stuff did you do today?

I’ve been working on putting a KMW loggerhead in my stock. Lots of fiberglass, molding, and fitting. Getting real close, don’t mind the super crappy first cut. Spent a lot of time bringing it back to square

Took my .22 for a walk. Hoping to see a crow while clearing weeds from around small fruit trees. Might get it threaded. 1936 mdl 61.td. Barn find. Pretty rough, but shoots true.

Sized and trimmed some more 6mmx45mm brass... it's cooking in the tumbler as I type.

Got a fairly good load worked up with the Sierra 70gr Match bullet and some AA2230. Some IMR 8208XBR performed equally as nice but is about 150 FPS slower AND that powder is harder to get... so... AA2230 gets the nod.

pretty much the only "firearm" worth doing as far as i see... thinking magpul stock, pic rail on top for dot. possibly threading for chokes and a Silencer Co Salvo. go big if yer gonna go right?
