This morning I got in two older 22 auto rifles. very old Marlin Glenfield that had to be taken apart to get the trigger mechanism out, was mis firing, you ever cllean this rifle, oh yeas all the time, but I never take it apart.....OH - OK....... I like the sheet metal scre holding the barrel band on. Now soaking in the parts washer to get the built up crud in the extractor grooves to turn loose.

Then the H&R M-700 22 Mag with decent wood for its stock. That has a terrible 8# trigger and a Tasco 3-9 scope variable scope that some one removed the screw knob from the power adjustment ring. Go figure. Odd things that folks do or bring in. Reminds me, I need to check the rear scope ring to see if it is so tight, the erector tube will not move. If you have a variable power scope you can only tighten the rear scope ring just so tight.

I will do a smooth out on the trigger, but not much else, the old parts are not necessarily available, so easy does the adjustment on an auto 22.

Completed another Saiga conversion in 7.62. Can't find real Russian handgaurds but other than that it's finished for now. Started out as a rare 20" barrel sporter. Cut barrel down, re crown, weld up extra receiver holes, new gas block, new ak103 style front site, cut in new grip nut hole, blast and cerakote, Russian rear leaf site, used Russian buttstock.

Well i just got done filling all 10 mags to fit a riley and a zap , ironic because i bought the better ones with the metal re-enforcing . The other p mags [all poly ] fit and feed in both no issues . Length and width wise ,mostly length wise so they would lock in ,the zap has the tightest length and the riley width .

My S.I. MCU Bravo chassis and other parts came in.
Fitted my Legion X5 slide, dot and barrel to it.
    Looks good so far.

In my continued quest to develop loads to duplicate my Unique powder loads since Unique is not being made, today was testing a 44 Special Ruger single action with BE-86 powder. It liked the same load as the S&W Model 24. Actually it shot better than my Unique load. First pic Unique load. Second pic BE-86 load (a 12 shot group).

Next test will be BE-86 in a 303 Brit Enfield.

Looks to me like your doing better.
Thanks! Once I figure out what my issue is on those benches I just might do pretty good. When I am on the bench I normally shoot from, they go in just about the same in groups and there is a good many 9s & 10s on the USBR single shot target. I almost think the sitting bench is just a little too low for me...I don't interface with the rifle as well there...just can get a handle on the issue.

Yep, position makes all the difference. It's like those crap angle shots when deer hunting. Been using the bog pod in my quad. 3 for 3 so far. Not resting the rifle on the incorrect height rail and having to lean in to line up. Shoot like you train.
Btw, if that's 50 yards you are shooting you are a great shot.

@Rebel_Rider1969 yes it is 50...and I might disagree with that great shot sheet
I might shoot tomorrow on the other bench and if I do I will try to post that.

I just ordered a ball head for my BOG from Little Crow to convert mine. Ball will hold 44# and makes it ARCA compatible...it even converts the original head to ARCA.

@Eagle Eye it isn't hard to shoot that poorly...just don't pay any attention to the wind flag in front of the bench...just watch the 25yd flag and the one at the target.
