    Found this on the floor after I finished cleaning my SW R8 but it may not be part of that gun. It's approximately 15 millimeters long.
    Any idea what it is?

    I don't think it is from your revolver. The R8 is just a variant of the N-frame revolver and I don't recognize it as resembling any part that I'm familiar with.
