I have a bunch of oak trees (pineoak) that I had to cut down for the power company to run lines.
I really don't want to waste these.
Does anyone know of someone who will buy lengths of them cut? I can cut em up in any length, but I have about 8 of them I think. Sizes are from 8" to about 20".

get someone with a portable saw mill to cut them into planks, then you can put them under cover, with space between each plank, dry them, and then can sell them faster

I don’t know a lot about it but that’s never stopped me from expressing my opinion before.
If there were any money in it, developers wouldn’t be piling them up and burning them.
Your best bet of getting any money out of them would probably be to cut, split, put under cover and wait for cold weather to sell as firewood.

Cut into firewood. Get to know some locals, and give it to them for firewood. You never know what will come back in return. Plus, you will be able to ask the many questions you will have in the future, to people that know the local answers.

Can you cut and dry the planks to use them for design/decoration in your home build? Or make a mantel out of some of it? Or decorative beams or trim work? Stairs? Porch railing? Just a thought as it is free wood for you use

Wilson only does their own but they do buy truck load quantity only. Hire a portable sawmill to saw them into useable lumber but it requires proper stacking and dry time especially for oak. The market for logs is very specialized outside of volume sales due to the expenses of trucking, loading and delivery. It is a very labor intensive market

    Thanks

I have 6 more to cut and a couple are over 24" in diameter. I hate cutting anything other than pines.

And pine isn't ideal firewood, but makes fine lumber!
There were 4 pines on my 6 acres when I bought it, none left...
Yeah I have a ton of pine that I've already cut down that I need to have cut into planks.
