I haven't even gotten my EBT card yet! I hear you can draw cash on those and buy liquor, cigarettes, and lotto tickets.

He said that most people's premiums will drop so I'm really looking forward to the extra money. The man must be a genius because he's going to save us money by giving people insurance that currently don't have it plus create a new bureaucracy to administer it all.
I heard Mike Huckabee say this morning that we need to let this go into affect. If it is as good as he says, then great. But chances are it will fail miserably and be repealed by January 2015 and make a lot of people see him for what he is thereby setting up a clean sweep for Repulicans of the House, Senate and Presidency.

As someone that spent 3 years having to go to Albany, GA for work every 2-3 weeks, that place is the bottom of the barrel even for scum sucking free loaders. It's bad there. My friend's wife worked for the local government agency managing the local HUD housing. They were having to evict people for not paying there $10 per month rent. Yes you read that right, $10 per month rent. They would spend all their welfare on drugs and not even leave themselves $10 a month for the roof over their head. But they would move out and go on to the next complex and live there till they would get kicked out again. The never ending cycle for these type of people needs to end. They need to be cut off. Not given more to feed their addictions.

I would hope you are right. But the sad reality is the scum suckers are voting in people that give them more and more free stuff. The silent majority need to start to stand up for themselves quickly. Otherwise, the loud minority are going to drive this country into the ground. Just like social security and other benifits that are webbed into our society these days. This health care will be ingrained into our society as something that we can't take away from people. How dare you take this away from the people that depend on it etc...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frank,I think you can carry up here, can't you. Albany is the reason I want to get my carry permit. Alot of Albany is scum thats for sure. They built a New WallMart on the bad side of town and people won't even shop there after dark. Should have been called Day Light to Dark instead of 24Hour.

I work for a government contractor and we've already been told the amount of money coming out of our paycheck automatically for health care will go down but that our deductible will double! Although my monthly pay will increase a bit I'm going to end up paying $2k - $4k more a year in medical costs due to the higher deductible because of this crap.

The president just said that only a small portion of assistance recipients actually abuse the system. Therefore the statement above can not be true.

It's kind of off topic but the better half is on social sec, By the time she pays for the suppelmintal ssi and a policy to help with perscription drugs its around 125 a month i think. She still has deductable on office calls and has to pay something on her meds. It takes up a little over 10% of the ssi check. Something for anyone thinking about the cost or retirement. And for Gods sake don't count on a cost of living cost. Last year mine was 40.00. and we went 2 years without a raise. Guess the cost of living didn't go up.They changed the way it is figured again so it will be less Sorry if this is a derail but it's our Gov at work.
