How old are your grandyounguns? I just bought both my boys (7 and 9) a .22 Cricket each. They boys are small for their size so they will get several years of good shooting out of them before retiring them for their kids.
Depending on where you buy it at you can get the synthetic stock (black) for about $119.00 - $139.00 each

Im looking for one also, or even a .17hmr.. I seen walmart had the .22's for I think 127.00 or close to it new..

Johnny: I've got a Henry Large ring lever action .22. It shoots shorts, longs, and LR and has a cheap scope on it. It's got some corrosion on the receiver, but is in great mechanical shape. I can even include a few boxes of .22 shorts for what I paid for them. Asking $150.00 in Defuniak/Crestview.

Ranger Firearms in FWB had several 22lr and 17 HMRs in stock last week when I was in there. I'd give them a shout.
