Looking for a 22lr lever action. Doesn't have to be a cheap, rusty one but not really interested in the $1k variety either. Willing to pay fair market value which hasn't went up drastically for these type rifles.

    Thanks, JW

Don’t know if you’re interested in buying new online—or if you only want to buy a used one locally—but I just saw this on gun deals:

He had a Win 94/22 when I was in there about 2 weeks ago but the price didn’t meet the op’s “less than $1,000” threshold.

that is just UGLY. It is the stock.
What?? I have the 30-30. No lighter, compact deer rifle out there. Collapse the stock, sling across back and go. No snaging even in the heaviest brush.

I said ugly - I did not say it would not work.

I have been on the look out for a Winchester 94 that needs work for a “tactical” build. Have not found one I could bear to ceracoat.

Sorry about that! The rifle shoots great, action seems smooth out of the box and the fit/finish is great for an entry level Henry. Shooting the 22 quiets is the best part though. Although other types 22lr functioned well. The POA/POI was pretty close with the standard sights. My plan is to put a lightweight LPVO on it for some precision squirrel shooting! Lol
