I have one just like this one, bought from Penny's Hardware in 1981. I would never sell it. It is the perfect little shotgun to have up on the river when those pesky water moccasins charge your little river boat, which really happened. I love my little Snake Charmer. To the best of my knowledge this is the original version of this little jewel. If you go up on the local rivers you need this little shotgun.

I've got the H&R one in 20. Great weapon. It's a keeper. Fyi don't shoot 3 inch turkey loads in it, ouch!

That H&R/ New England Firearms model is called the "Tamer". I had one, the recoil is brutal with full house 20 ga loads mostly due to abbreviated stock with no recoil pad.
