The Parkland Deputy has finally admitted that he hid while Cruz killed

The OP said that the deputy admitted to hiding. There is no statement from the deputy. That a lawyer for the deputy described the deputy's actions is no more of an admission by the deputy than the Sheriff's descriptions of the deputy's actions being an admission by the deputy. They aren't...

The Parkland Deputy has finally admitted that he hid while Cruz killed

Yep, that is in the article and it is not any sort of admission by the deputy. That is a 3rd party description/interpretation of the events by the lawyer. An admission by the deputy would have to come from the deputy and none of the statements in the article are from the deputy.

The Parkland Deputy has finally admitted that he hid while Cruz killed

I don't see any admission by the former deputy. All that is reported is that his lawyer described his actions. Too bad they can't retroactively fire him for dereliction of duty and cause a loss of benefits. More than court cases have held that cops have no obligation to protect. So I...

      Hog down

Well done! A good eater. Nice gun, too! Your dad would be proud.

      Hog Calling...

In my experience, it doesn't matter if you know where the hogs are or not. I have called in several lone boars that I did not know were in the area. In fact, that is one of the benefits of calling, being able to sample from a larger area than you may be able to see. It is certainly hard to...

      Hog Calling...

Thank you. I read here a bunch, but don't have a lot to contribute that is geographically relevant, but this topic would work.

      Hog Calling...

Over the last few years, I have bantered around the topic of hog calling with a Texas hunter, Glenn Guess of Hog Zombies. He is a huge proponent of it and while I understood it could be done, I had come to realize that a lot of folks with grunt tubes probably were not having as much success...

It should be legal to shoot thieves

It is going to take your CC company 10 days to get you a new credit card? I can get mine in 2 days and some companies will overnight a card to you. Might I suggest you try a new CC company?

Did Open Carry backfire on Texas gun owners?

Well, I am from Texas and see things this way. OC gave us the right (by permit) to carry openly in a proper holster (ankle holster isn't proper, LOL). BEFORE OC went into effect, man pro-gun people poopoo'd the whole thing because they didn't like it. More so than the antis, they proclaimed...

      Franklin Armory Binary Firing System

As I understand it, the press is one function and the gun fires. The release is a 2nd function and the gun fires.

      Franklin Armory Binary Firing System

Hello Mr. Frank! Clifford, you know, suggested the site to me. I had a lower that developed a sear problem that fired on the pull and on the release. Had I known it could be legal, I might have kept it, LOL. Just kidding as there are obviously safety issues with a gun that fires when it...

      Franklin Armory Binary Firing System

The reliability issue is a real problem. That puts the system into the gimmick category for me. I like the concept. Maybe they will improve it in the future?
