I just can't get my head around the concept of treating the inhuman humanely. Just kill 'em.

Ugh. As a criminal defense attorney I am not in favor of the death penalty for numerous reasons.

Alabama is so bass ackwards at times.

Isnt the other option to pay 60k a year to take care of them in prison until they get out and commit more crimes. Oh plus all the money dumped into the legal system swamp.

Why make things complicated? Once convicted announce date hang in front of courthouse where all the criminals that are outside can watch and see their fate if caught. Always worked good cheap way to get it done.

The reason it takes years to execute someone who has been convicted is because all such convictions are automatically appealed and reviewed. It just takes time.
