Concealed permit and hunter education

Simple question. Does hunter education still count for a concealed carry permit? I took it in middle school in the 90’s. Still have my card from it and so does the FWC website. Don’t want to waste my time at the tax office in Milton if it doesn’t. Thanks

@Freecutter My wife just got her carry permit the other day. She used her FL hunters safety course as the firearms training. It did take about a month to come in the mail.
