A rumor has it that "they" are now requiring some ability test to shoot on their 600 & 1000 Ranges ?? I wonder if this is just for new members or ALL long time members ?

You have to qualify at 100 yards to shoot at 300 yard metal plates at bay county public rangeA rumor has it that "they" are now requiring some ability test to shoot on their 600 & 1000 Ranges ?? I wonder if this is just for new members or ALL long time members ?
I believe that has been the requirement all along, a quick call out there should clear that up.A rumor has it that "they" are now requiring some ability test to shoot on their 600 & 1000 Ranges ?? I wonder if this is just for new members or ALL long time members ?
Yes , I've heard of qualifying at distance , probably a lot more than you, In RVN the scout/sniper school the range was limited to 550 yds. and that gong was a 12" square.Students had to hit it 8 out of 10 shots to pass.lighten up francis ....seemed like you never heard of qualifying for long range shooting before ,we were simply explaining its common place .....EXCUSE FUCKING US for trying a help
Would be interesting to watch the 6" plate and see what weapons are being used
I haven’t been to Element but I have priced steel targets. $500 sounds cheap compared to setting up your own range. How long did you have to wait for someone to hold the "test " and how big was the target you had to hit ?
Been thinking about it and with the $ 100.00 increase in yearly dues, now at $ 500.00 ,plus you have to have one of the little helpers go with you to put out paper targets at the 300 yd. range line , plus I'd guess the $ 100.00 won't buy much custmor service like painted steel targets every AM. I'll pass on renewing
All depends on what you want to do and how far your land/range is from your house and what is behind your target's.I haven’t been to Element but I have priced steel targets. $500 sounds cheap compared to setting up your own range.
