Most electronics have a key slot under them, right or not? I would not buy one without that option

I’ve done that, too. For the combos to the safes. Encoded.
Same for WiFi passwords, etc.
The problem, coming soon to a SpyPhone near you, is the fact that your photos may soon no longer be “private”. Not talking about 3-letter agency under-the-table stuff, either. It’s public knowledge next iOS update ”for the children” scanning of photos. Just the “cloud”... for now. “Kiddie porn only”... for now.
But that’s not applicable to this thread.
A more tangible problem to storing important info ”only” on your phone, is if you Lose your phone, or it gets wet or otherwise suffers an “untimely demise”. Sure you can rely on a back-up from a computer...
Pros and cons to every choice.
2 is 1, and 1 is none, and all that.
Take a picture when you've figured it out. Maybe consider color coded gun socksThe other day I forgot the combination for my safe. I don’t mean the numbers that open the door. I have all my long guns in socks so I pack them in pretty tight. I took most of them out looking for some magazines and when I put them back in, I wound up with a shotgun that I could not fit. Maybe tomorrow I will play Tetris a while and try to figure out the combo
Changed the battery. Same deal. I entered the correct code as I do every day and it wouldn't open. Entered it about 10 times then the alarm. I hope it was just a glitch. It's been 12hrs. Maybe it has a reset. If the alarm is still buzzing I'm going to beat it with a hammer.
I was warned about the electronic ones long time ago. Only one I've ever owned that was electronic was a table top model... with a key. Just in case. Most electronics have a key slot under them, right or not? I would not buy one without that option
Did we have the same uncle?I had an uncle that wrote the combination on top of his bedroom door. I thought that was smart.
Write it into a phone number and put it into your wallet under a fictitious name. The other day I forgot the combination for my safe. I don’t mean the numbers that open the door. Best piece of advice I got when shopping for a safe was to determine what size you think you would ever need and then double it .
Write it into a phone number and put it into your wallet under a fictitious name.
Yeah - but the thread changed and it is all the more special for it…THE LACK OF READING COMPREHENSION IN SOME PEOPLE IS ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING!!
