    Nope, Glocks certainly aren't the prettiest girls at the prom but they always put out, without fail.

    I love John Browning's design as much as the next guy (or gal) but the fact is you can load a Glock up on Sunday and shoot all week.

    How about a 1943 Colt M1911A1 Military Match pistol. This pistol was originally blued from Colt in Feb. 1943 and sent to the attention of the Commanding Officer of the Springfield Armory. It was later converted to a match pistol in the late '50s.

    This framed picture is one that my father got back in the late 50s when he was in the Marine Corps. It is the same picture they used as an inside cover for the MCRD graduation books. I wanted to do my homage to the original.
