We can dance around pro vs. con reloading but somehave planned Waaayyy ahead... so much so our heirs will have to dispose of it.

I'm just surprised that there are so many folks willing to post pictures of how much reloading work they have slacked off on! All those empty cases just waiting to be reloaded. Did Y'all expend them, then why ain't they reloaded? Empty brass ain't going to save the day! Don't expect me to give you BZ's for having failed to reload your expended cases. How am I supposed to use your reloads to defend my family after your demise if you fail to do your part at the reloading bench. It may not eat, drink, or use electricity, but it ain't going to help the WAR EFFORT if it ain't loaded. JMHO. So how about you slackards at least loading that .308 Win brass to M118LR specs, ( skip that cheap ball powder stuff) but MK 316 mod 0, 1, or mod 2 would be much better! It's time Y'all got onboard! LOL. If you ain't part of the solution, you are the problem. Tee Hee, LOL. JMHO. Y'all better not have married Rosie the Welder, she would be all over your six for your lack luster performance in support of the WAR EFFORT! Empty cases, really???if you have the powder, primers and bullets to load your empty cases you are good. If you don't...well it doesn't eat or use electricity...sooner or later they will catch up to each other.
Still don't understand why more than 99 unloaded casings! I can comprehend some inordinately large numbers of reloads and/or factory ammo on hand, but what use is empty brass? I mean someday they may find my cold dead body atop a large pile of empty brass, but I'll have expended all of it in an attempt to walk away. LOL.
But can you perform it like I did, or are you just sympathizing for the unlookers. About all those 1K shots you have taken, and about how many of them have been successful. Explain away, now how about we spend a moment of understanding? Balls in your court SIR!
About that fire formed LC brass and Match Ammo? God it's great to sling a bolt action. Now let's load Match Primers into fire formed brass with match+ powders and SMK projectiles. Sacrilege, I think not. Bet it gets some attention at the 1K Range. JMHO.sacrilege....308 Win gets .308 Win. LC LR or Match brass gets M118LR...and no it isn't BL-C(2)
So you have thousands of primers, but how many pounds of relevant powder, and how many premium projectiles? Don't worry about thousands if you can't manage a simple hundred. It ain't about what you can do, it's all about what you did do. If I have a thousand primers and no powder or premium projectiles how many rounds am I going to craft?Getting back to the Topic.
If I have a thousand primers, then I want 1k brass casings.
And I have around 12k primers on hand, and about 2k casings. So I need More.
More bullets than primers, and enough powder to do the 2k casings 2x over.So you have thousands of primers, but how many pounds of relevant powder, and how many premium projectiles? Yet you have how many unloaded casings? Tisk Tisk! Was wondering what your excuse was? Press on if you dare. I'm up to it!More bullets than primers, and enough powder to do the 2k casings 2x over.
So what do you shoot a hundred rounds a day every day from your primary weapon from? You still need to practice with a hundred rounds a week from your secondary sidearm. So at a minimum you need 100 x 356 from your primary weapon for practice, and 52 x 100 from your secondary sidearm for practice. What do you need if you actually go into COMBAT? Just how much do you really have loaded for actual Combat Readiness Smart Alec?I have around 4k loaded rounds of various calibers, why do I need to reload another 6k rounds?
My tastes may change down the road, and I may want to use the powder/primers on different calibers I
don't shoot now.
That would be redundant, wouldn't it?
I do not reload yet- but I buy components including brass. I plan on building my setup in the next year or two. My plan is to process brass as I shoot it and then reload once or twice a year.I'm just surprised that there are so many folks willing to post pictures of how much reloading work they have slacked off on!
