Yesterday afternoon, I went over to Books-A-Million to a book signing. Johnny "Joey" Jones, of FOX NEWS fame, was there signing copies of his new book, UNBROKEN BONDS OF BATTLE. Super nice guy. He is no different than he is on TV and that is refreshing. He had four of his buddies there that appear in the book and they were also signing. They were all very friendly, polite, and respectful to everyone, especially us veterans. I even presented Joey a USMC challenge coin. It was a nice experience, but I had no idea that I would be there over two hours. I got there a half hour before the signing started and the line was already long. I am glad I did not get there later as the line was as long behind me as it was in front of me.

i wish i had known about this. i would have taken off work to meet him. i was Marine EOD from a different generation and would have liked to pay my respects.
I found out about it Thursday night when my wife was watching THE FIVE. I went online and bought my ticket which included the price of the book.
