Currently, 99% of my end of day drive stress is caused by two types of drivers, some are likely guilty of both. First, the clueless who still don't know that the school zone at Florosa Elementary is now 30 MPH, yes, 30. And then we have the folks who read "SPEEDING FINES DOUBLED WHEN WORKERS PRESENT" and their defective brains come away with "REDUCE SPEED TO HALF THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT."80% of the stress in the world, imo, are caused by those who want to start at the top, those who are offended easily because they know it all and think you are stupid, and those who won't get out of the damn left lane for no one but emergency vehicles..
in many cases, these conditions converge into one person... they are to be avoided, shunned, and you should try to offend them every time you can..
Watched a woman make a U-Turn at 90 and avalon stopping oncoming traffic then took 100 ft to get to speed blocking both lanes of on coming traffic scary.Currently, 99% of my end of day drive stress is caused by two types of drivers, some are likely guilty of both. 98 is bad enough on a good day. W-T-F people?! Rant complete.
Back in 2002 I was one car behind the accident where a lady did a U turn just like what you saw and died, out front of the health food store about a quarter mile west of where you were. She was driving a two-door hatchback and drunk and the full-size sedan in front of me nailed her square at 60 or 70 miles an hour and barrel rolled her end over end across the median into oncoming traffic so fast that it ejected her out of the driver side window and we never even saw it eject her. I ran up to the car to drag out the driver because I thought there was fuel leaking everywhere out the bottom of her car and there was no driver. She was on the ground on the other side of the car out of sight. The ambulance guys got a pulse and after the ambulance took her away we opened up the back of her car because we were like there's no way it's been leaking fuel that long and the whole back of the car it was full of beer. She was dead but the machines kept her alive for a day or two and they pulled the plug. The poor guy that nailed her... I got him seated while the ambulance guys were shocking the crap out of her with the paddles and he started repeating himself and rocking back forth going into shock while I was under his crumpled up hood yanking fuses trying to get his alarm horn to shut up. I was on the clock for all of this. Got back to the store and I told them and I got sent home so that I didn't go into shock on the clock. All because a lady wanted to do a U turn on 90 with no deceleration lane. Guess what... there's a deceleration lane there now.Watched a woman make a U-Turn at 90 and avalon stopping oncoming traffic then took 100 ft to get to speed blocking both lanes of on coming traffic scary.
Yes, Sir. I used to run the Crestview 500 (SR 85 drive) each day and folks thought that was dangerous. Nothing compared to 98. I think some of the people truly expect oncoming traffic to stop and allow them to make their left or u-turn, so just go ahead believing you'll stop for them. 98 is in such a state that I think it's time to start minimizing left/u-turns and work toward making u-turns illegal, maybe just during certain hours, dunno.Watched a woman make a U-Turn at 90 and avalon stopping oncoming traffic then took 100 ft to get to speed blocking both lanes of on coming traffic scary.
Hey we can put flamethrowers on all four corners for less than $1,000Making something illegal for everyone just because a few idiots act like fools...
Hmmm.
Instead of illegality, or new signs, or camera enforcement, or more pavement for extra lanes, just ask some libtard celebrity to make a statement on social media about it.
-They get free publicity (cuz they aren't getting a damn cent of taxpayer money to do the PR).
-The target audience will get the message
-The rest of us don't have to watch it or see a damn billboard with their face on it, etc.
In the meantime, I want MadMax spikes on the front&rear of my SUV and flamethrowers at 45-degree angles. And an air-compressor locomotive horn instead of factory horn. And bright lights facing rearward, activate as necessary.
A fella can dream...
It's almost 3 feet and not blatantly obvious that it is a disposable offensive battering ramWith a receiver hitch spike 3 foot long to slow them down before they rear-end me again !

Tune your exhaust to run rich and pipe it to the four corners. Then put spark plugs in the exhaust tips, wired to toggle switches in the cabInterested. Need more details.
