I picked up all of my fencing today to finish of enclosing my property. Hopefully I'll get it all up within the next month and then off to the rescue. It's been 21 months since my best buddy passed on and I've been putting off getting a new one till the yard was enclosed.

I appreciate that sir! It's a detailed story but I got about 200' total of white vinyl fencing, high-quality stuff, for a song. I'm going to actually install it differently than intended to make it even better than original and with more architectural details. This is going to involve having a gate/trellis setup on one side of the house and double 10' gates for access of larger equipment and projects into the backyard on the other side. That's why it's going to take some time. The posts, gates and trellis setup is something I can do myself and would prefer to because it'll be slow and tedious work. Dont want to bug or tie up someone elses time for that part. Once all that is setup it'll take two people to put the sections in but that should take no more than a few hours on a weekend day.

After that it's dog time. I'm going to get something small, maybe a weiner or two and then a larger dog, possibly a Sheppard of some kind. I want the smaller guys first so that when the big dude shows up the pecking order is established in favor of the lightweights.

I'm also very seriously thinking about a donkey. Wife has always been a horse person but I don't want to get I to that and she was told by her doctor to never ride again so maybe getting her some ass will keep her happy.

I've never seen a miniature up close, only on line. I have neighbor's that have the average sized ones and they're just cool. I like the idea that they're laid back but cop a 'tude over intruders, including snakes. I suspect the venomous snakes around here are going to be more abundant in the near future. I've had rattles and Copperhead in the yard in years past and with the developments being built and land clearing those guys are going to head towards water, and my neighbor's have ponds plus there is a swamp across the road. We're already seeing more 'totes including the guy that followed my wife up the driveway a few times late at night. I would feel better with a real ass stopper on the property.

Dan, have I got a deal for you. I have a pair of Crocs given to me by a still to be determined former friend, size 12, in flaming hot pink as a Christmas gift. He suddenly got transfered out of town by the U.S. Navy, suspiciously, before I could wear them while accompanying him to the mall or other social events.
