Thanks! I ordered a handful of colors from Brownells a while back, just now getting around to trying it. This is duracoat, not cerakote, but I think that brownells carries both.

no clue. my brother in law sold me the rifle and box full of random parts for it and 125 rounds of .223 for $500 since they are moving back to CA.

Yes the light is for intruders not esthetics it also has a laser which adds to the size.

I am surprised a safety guru has not yelled about the 1911 being cocked & off safety. :whistle:

Mine stays cocked with the safety off, an empty chamber and full mag. Easier to rack that way.
