Thought you would have picked up the old lightweight or another vickers.
Would've been happy to. Picked up a TRP instead.

A TRP will make a good understudy to the Elite. This is an early one that feels much more hand fit than usual. Think of it as The Prince and The Pauper. Lol.

Well, I handed them both to the wife. She loved the Wilson and wants nothing to do oh the Springer. Imagine that.

While I was down in Lake Wales doing a class for a client Sunday and Monday I had my buddy Scott who owns Hydroprint Services coat my Springfield Armory Range Officer for me. I had been having some rust issues on the safety lever. Came out pretty good I think. I told him I wanted something visually similar to the Colt Special Combat from the 1980s.

Got my Colt cerakoted in Tungsten and got it back today. Looks great IMO. The pictures make it look more silver buts it's much darker than what I was able to capture. I am really happy with how it came out. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

That looks fantastic! You've got all the right features too, from the sights to the grips and magwell . Congrats! You might want to re-do that front sight though, it looks a little long in the tail.

Are you talking about the fiber optic part? It does have a lot of movement to it but that's how it came to me so I have never messed with it.

    Thanks for the compliments.

Yes Sir, it needs to be clipped a little shorter for a tighter fit. It should work fine though, just make sure you have extra before you try to fix it. I'll check if I have some to spare.
