I do have this one. PMR30. Extended barrel with now discontinued linear comp. Pistol optic and light. 20rds of 22 mag is pretty solid. Maybe add a light, laser combo.

Also, the most useful weapon ( to me) was the old pistol grip pump shotgun with no doo-dads on it, lol. Aliens is a classic but you can't forget Starship troopers for futuristic stuff too. Battlefield tactical nuke? Awsome!
Book was better, and mandatory reading for actors when filming aliens. If you pay attention you can catch some references.

    Also, look up davy Crockett.

Might have found a winner. With some tweaks it may just foot the bill. PSA Dagger. G19 sized.

Those Caniks can use cheap $10 surplus M9 mags too. I've done it with my buddy Matt's Canik in Maine. Just gotta cut a new Canik mag release hole into the M9 mag body, or else manually hold the M9 mags in the Canik frame with your support hand. Hey if it works then it's not stupid! ;) I saw a good size pile of those surplus M9 mags selling for 2 for $20 at the Ft Walton show and Pensacola show on Victor Bean's table. Dirt cheap well made mags is reason enough to have a non-Glock space pistol

CMMG came out with their star wars blaster in .22 because it didn't need the receiver tube the function. But they make many models in 9mm, including Gluck.

Many thanks, I did not know of this before.

    On the Pro side
-Heck someone did something and its close and it really shoots :).

    On the Con side.
-Its alittle bit of a let down. For a new item you would think that a new construction could do better

The anal Star Wars fan in me does cry out for alittle better detail.

Maybe I need to clear something up here this was merely a joke. Simply a 7.63x25 broomhandle Mauser . Smith & Wesson Pachmayr grips a flash suppressor off a Ruger 10/22. But Han Solo's blaster was merely broom-handle Mauser with a few add-ons.View attachment 160288

On thats different.. I thought you were working on one.. There is a couple of Han Solo shooters that people have built. But most are more delicate then shootable. They do not hold up well. Also many of those people started with POS broom handles that many times has shooting issues to begin with.

There was a time one could make real money finding surplus parts so people could build reproduction props. I.E that scope on the original version of Han Solo's gun was made with a WW II tank and artillery scope. Any more today there are so many people making quality parts you do not need to hunt surplus any more. :(.

Had worked on an Aliens Smart gun years ago. But at the time the furniture that was being made at the time could not hold up to the force of being used on a real gun.

Yeah there’s some pros and cons to both. Self defense 9mm is completely fine they make a 147 or a 150 grain 9mm I’ve been told recently. Haven’t looked it up or shot any.
147 has been around for a good while, and I always got good poa poi with it out of beretta 92’s.
150, I have a couple boxes of hst micro designed for short barrels that are 150.

But if I’m gonna lob heavy slow bullets like that, I’ll do it out of a smith k frame.
And to relate all of that to space guns, scandium framed smith revolvers are Apprently made out of some metal only found in a certain line in Sweden or some crap(which screams meteor/asteroid deposit).... and couple it with radioactive night sights, crimson trace grips and a laser pro underbarrel light... space laser gun.
