First rule of survival say in SHTF or during a nationwide disaster is what ever food is available. There were soldiers that died of malnutrition as POWs during the korean war even when fed what the Chinese were being fed. Reason some captured GIs would not eat the food that the prison guards give them.Better test some out to make sure the family likes them. Buy an individual package don’t open the bucket.
I can stomach most anything but wifey and kid not so much. Even in shtf food better resemble what they normally eat and taste somewhat palatable.
My wife and I can eat anything, especially if WE HAVE TO !!!!Better test some out to make sure the family likes them. Buy an individual package don’t open the bucket.

A person I worked with bought these for their pantry/stash: https://www.google.com/search?q=FIF...CDYyNjVqMGoxqAIAsAIB&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8Rotation now, don’t keep stacking without using the goods you have and replacing them. Everyone should have a small stash, buying 1-2 cans a week extra is a good thing. If we fall under democrats again, expect more foreclosures and inflation.
I like the idea but,A person I worked with bought these for their pantry/stash: https://www.google.com/search?q=FIF...CDYyNjVqMGoxqAIAsAIB&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Dad was in early Vietnam era. Said they ate World War II era rations.I wish I had several cases of the C-Rations I used to take camping in high school.
Dad would buy a case of 12 for $3 at the base warehouse sale.
This was 1973 and I believe they were packaged in 1958.
Good stuff and you even got a P-38 can opener, a roll of TP and a 4 pack of cigs.
Ate some of those in JROTC trips in the mid-70s. Ham and Lima beans were about the tastiest as I recall.I wish I had several cases of the C-Rations I used to take camping in high school.
