Marlin (JM Stamped) 1895 SBL Guide SS Rifle in 45-70 With: Wide Loop Lever, KDF Muzzle Brake, M1 style Cheek Piece and Burris 2X7 Scope.

Extras: 2 Four round pocket holders (ammo excluded), extra extractor and ejector, soft case.

Original Owner.
1st Born in 2009 by Marlin (not Remington, nor Ruger!).
35 rounds fire through it, reserved it for hunting and Queen spot in the safe.
Very smooth lever action and very accurate with Hornady 325 FTX ammo.

Excellent condition. $1950.00

Will accept 1911 Gov/Commander in (45 cal only) up to $950 trade value towards the Marlin. Acceptable 1911s are:
COLT SERIES 70/80, NOWLIN, PARA ORDNANCE EXPERT, REMINGTON, RUGER, SIG SAUER, SMITH AND WESSON, SPRINGFIELD ARMORY

What year is it? My 45-70, the 1st two serial digits are subtract from = part of year: mine 100-91=2009, yours 100-17=1983 if it works the same way?

not sure - the first 2 are "72". I'm selling for a widowed neighbor. I just looked on the site and Marlin site said first 2 are year of birth = so 1972
