show the picture of said screw head but allen strip trick is to first [if any ] put good screws back in to relieve pressure on plate . Next is to take a torx bit [ a very good one] that is just a little too big to fit in the stripped allen screw . Support your work underneath well and hammer the torx bit into the hole and turn out ...

Had a stuck and/or damaged front action allen screw on a Savage once. Found a right-size drill bit (i.e., just larger than the shank of the screw) to drill into the head just enough for it to pop off, then was able to remove the threaded section once the stock was removed.

Always can use a easy out.
I've also used the next size or two up Allen or a metric and hammered that into the damaged allen and got it out.

A picture of what we are dealing with would be helpful.

that is a Torx screw not an Allen...maybe driving the Torx in will still get it out

what is the screw torqued to?
Thats what I'm thinking that was a torx, try a proper size torx and be prepared to the nex size up.

Super glue or epoxy can be your friend in this situation. Glue/epoxy the torx head or Allen head in the socket and wait for it to cure. Then unscrew it

Depending on the situation I either drill on the mill and use a screw extractor or use the laser to remove the core of the shank allowing the threads to unwind

this aint a half inch bolt we are talking ...its akin to a machine screw and very little " wiggle working" room
I've been wrong before but those didn't exactly look small. I've hand drilled out some tiny screws. It's never fun and always stressful. I now let the laser do all the work once screws get too small.
