Focus on you local community, starting with the street that you live on. Who cares what is going on in Washington. I’m sure they are working to pass more laws that probably won’t be enforced. Take care of yourself and those that you love, take care of what’s within reach. It’s a bumpy road ahead. Don’t waste energy on anything that you can’t control.

More posterboard over windows, fake emergencies, hand to hand sneaking of thumb drives as if they was dealing crack or something in a sneaky manner, tables that turn out to be boxes of ballots once the table cloth is removed after hours, huge poll spikes as soon as everyone goes to bed, ya know... the usual.

Step one is to stop believing/trusting that government will do the right thing, all the while having no good reason(s) to do the right thing. Just what is it that consistently inspires them to do what is constitutionally right, regardless of personal beliefs/emotions/gain?

"Fair" is one of those words that I try to stay away from because each individual has their own idea of what fair is, and that idea tends to change with the desire at hand. Getting a speeding ticket when everyone else is going the same speed is not "fair," but getting let go with a warning is...

In the end, who we get to "vote" for is 90% decided for us by entities/individuals we ought to be concerned about. After all, if ya can't get into, and stay, in a campaign/election, ya can't very well get elected. Let's just say I don't believe we the people are getting to vote for who we want so much as we are being allowed to "vote" for who those really in control are OK with us "voting" for.
