Just installed a transitional bolt catch on my 602 clone. One step closer to correctness. All thanks to a fellow AR15.COM retro member.

I normally buy 2 or 3 boxes every Friday anyways, but the lady said this was the last of it they were getting... not sure if there is any truth to that, but she was right about the .300 Blackout they were keeping in stock a few months ago.

I doubt I'll shoot it all, I've got a bunch... it's great to keep on hand for trade possibilities though.

After I read this post I went to the Daphne Walmart to see if they had any and that shit was all gone. First time I've been for a long time and didn't see any.

Got the Magpul front sight to replace the one that broke... 12 days since I contacted them originally. I'm too impatient, but that really isn't a long time at all.

Good deal, glad to hear it but now I'm curious, have they requested and arranged for the original back?

Yes they did... included all the paperwork and everything. Pretty dern simple. I guess it's on the honor system, but I will definitely be returning the broken one...

Been doing this all day, pretty damn fun I must say. Doing one more color after this dries and then I'll call it good. Need to make some more stencils.

Just put my new muzzle brake on my new AR10. Looking pretty damn sweet. Now continuing my 3 week search for right optic.

    And..done...

    That looks great!

I've been at least trying to do gun stuff all day. I sold a few gun related items this morning, then tried to go to the range to test a new gun and shoot a video. I got within about 2 minutes of the range and it started pouring rain, so I drove right by and went into town and ran a couple errands. The rain stopped after a few minutes, so I went back to the range after the errands, but it was pretty crowded so I drove by once more and came back to the house.

I cleaned off enough of my workbench that I was able to finally film my $35 AR trigger job video. I tried to make it as short as possible, but it still ended up almost 20 minutes long. It took just under 2hrs to render and just started uploading to YouTube. The timer shows 147 minutes still remaining, so I'll post it up to the forum tomorrow. Good news is that my new lavalier mic works really well, so you can hear me much better than in previous videos.

ordered the PRP drop-in trigger for my xdm last night. Never had an aftermarket trigger so I'm pretty hyped about it.

I have the ultimate match trigger in my XD, took a while to fit it and was a fun learning experience. It reduced the take up a ton and has 0 over travel. I forget exactly what its break weight was but it was in spec around 3.5-4 lbs.

I considered the ultimate match, but after some research, the benefits from the drop-in to the ultimate match are minimal. However, the ultimate match is regarded as a better trigger overall. I'm pumped

As you should be, trigger was already installed on my xdm when I acquired it,but shooting it next to a stock xd and a glock trigger it is phenomenal. Good luck ksenter
