I'm still very novice to the gun stuff. Been around them my whole life but didn't actually by my first gun until about 5 years ago. So there is a lot I haven't seen or heard about.

Also just to make sure we are on the same page, the great income or no kids remark was purely for fun. I'm not one those people that get pissed at other people for having more disposable income then myself.

Oh, no Sir. It's all good. It's all in fun. Didn't mean to be short. Just got kinda busy. Lol.
If I'm serious or irritated, my posts are usually accompanied by lots of expletives. Haha.

Finished a pin and weld on a AR 7.62x39 barrel and cerakoted it. The brake is from Amazon and I modified it in my lathe. Still not sure what rail and stock to use from my stash of goodies.

If only dawson would adopt a gold bead in their seemingly endless combination of front sight height and width

Add: dawson packages a tool with each front sight so I have a couple if someone needs one. It's also the same size for the Walther PPQ.

Gen 4 has a small screw. Sight came with the tool to use to replace it. 5 minute operation start to finish.
Make sure to put a dab of loctite on the threads and check it every so often. They WILL work themselves loose.

Oh yeah, I'm going red and locking them down. I can't see any reason to remove the best sights ever made for a plastic fantastic.

I agree. gotta love gold bead. I fitted one recently on my 1911. sight is 0.200" tall x 0.125" wide. gold bead is 0.125" diameter so it is flush on the side and top of the blade. paired with a deep 0.135" rear notch and it is an awesome set. Notice the flush base

As it turns out 10-8 Performance offers them bead sights as well. Although I'm sure you'll go with the Wilson packaged one lol ;)
