Sorta, but I've never studied it in depth such that I could converse expertly on the subject. But, depending upon the alloy and if the bullets were quench hardened, some alloys get harder after casting, some get softer over time, and some get harder then softer over time. Over time = weeks to months. I've never noticed any effect on my cast bullet performance, so I don't worry about it.I've heard that aged bullets are actually harder? Anything to that? Thanks.

For anybody interested, I saw another one of these older model Surefire forward grip/light combos for sale at Grey Man. I like my Surefire a lot, but I gotta tell you what, I like my Osprey brand clone of this Surefire even better. Not only is it like $700-$800 cheaper, but the Osprey has a higher powered light, a laser and is trigger activated instead of grip panel activated.Angered the gun gods
