To be moved to a different location? Try a locksmith.

Tried the 2 local smiths who were of no help. Will need to remove from Ryder rental van and into garage/work shop. No transportation required. Just off a deck and down a ramp and over the threshold of the garage and into place. $250 !!!!!!!!!!!! Sheesh

Have you called Mike Ward's in Mobile? Honestly that price doesn't surprise me, given the hassle and work involved.

four friends, a pallet jack, and a case of beer usually works.

Not sure a pallet jack will lift and roll out of a moving van but if you got 1 then brother come on with it, Sunday evening after say 8ish and the food will be on me, my wife's quite the cook

Rent a truck with a lift gate and a safe dolly/hand truck....
Apparently nobody around here rents the motorized heavy duty dollies, surprisingly, few folks I've spoke with even knew what the hell I was talking about

Depending on how big the safe is, an appliance dolly with straps might work.

Sorry but I don't have one.
That's how we got mine in the house. I bought it with "free curbside delivery". The two delivery guys got it off the truck with a pallet jack. I offered them $100 each to put it in the house. We got it across the yard and up a small grade with 3 sheets of plywood and just kept moving the plywood in front of it. We had to wrestle it a little across the threshold but they put it exactly where I wanted it.

975# empty weight, 60"/32"/24" appliance dolly typically rates between 250~500# this a move/relocation not a new delivery and I only need brought out of and off the moving van and then set up in my garage/shop for the time being as we're looking to set up and relocate the shop to a commercial property but that's another story all together...

Was in Brewton today so I decided to visit their WalMart in search of some 32ACP. Though much better stocked and with a variety of all the popular handgun calibers than Crestview's WM, no .32 to be found there either.:eek:hwell:

I used my tractor with a boom attachment to get mine out of the truck and onto the porch, then it was 2 strong friends and a heavy duty dolly to get them inside to where they needed to be but mine were just under 500lb.s each but yours at 975lb.s would just cause my front tires to come off the ground. Have you talked to any piano movers?
