Sounds like your gonna have a busy, albeit fun few days of collecting coming up.Scored some mags! New production okay, window pmags / mono pod and lancers. Time to start collecting up my deals i made while gone. Thanks to all the fine GCGF members.
Yep, got builds and parts too. Been mail ordering. Got a stoner comp for the c308, should curb some recoil.Sounds like your gonna have a busy, albeit fun few days of collecting coming up.
Find a CZ82 or 83. Small aluminum frame and DA/SA and still 13 rounds. Smaller still (and also less muzzle flip and less perceived recoil) because the recoil spring is wrapped around the barrel. My whole family loves themI did not have fun at the range today.
Dissapointed after spending $200 to improve the trigger on my chosen self-defense gun, the gun that fits me the best and is OUTSTANDING in everyway for me and it is the gun I have best accuracy with so far, EXCEPT the trigger is shit.
And it cannot be improved more than what I already have done to it.
Did I say the trigger is shit?
So dissapointed.
Will have to suck it up and trainwith it. Maybe I can forget how unimpressive the trigger is compared to how much Iove the rest of the gun.
I hate polymer.
Will look into a quality steel gun that is compact enough. ( they are either too small or too big ).
Yesterday I received a Sig P238 HD all in steel but my FFL decided to hold it hostage until Monday.Find a CZ82 or 83. Small aluminum frame and DA/SA and still 13 rounds. Is that an MP5 on the left?Today, I tried to find out if the OG can still keep up.

Have you compared a B&T to a Stribog? I rented a Gen1 Stribog pistol at the indoor range on 29. I was impressed with the accuracy, but not the weight. At least the weight allowed for very fast and accurate follow-up shots. (And then I got politely told to slow down.) Apparently there is an aftermarket lower available for the Stribog now too for it to use AR style controls and Glock mags. And the Gen2 now has a non-reciprocating left side charger. The version I got a hold of was a little dangerous with the reciprocating. I'm in the market for a new semiautomatic subgun, I just want to do it right this time. It'll be my 6th or 7th, and I just havent felt the love yetMP5 as a platform has been king of the hill since 1966.
B&T’s latest offerings match the quality feel and performance. Most pronounced difference being that while the MP5 (at least in full size version) is an unnoticeable touch softer on recoil, B&T eats flat nose frangible ammo. The latter being important to me since I shoot that quite regularly. This, at least in my mind, translates to perhaps a slight edge in theoretical reliability. Having said that, Mp5 runs my choice or defensive hollow points just fine.
Bolt release on B&T is like on my AR and the charging handle is like on my SCAR, and of course, the bolt does hold open.
In short, can the MP5 keep up? Yes, and it oozes cool points, plus it’s hard to watch Diehard without holding one.
However, B&T despite being a more primitive straight blowback system, it isn’t rough or jumpy like the scorpion. The ergonomics are also much more consistent with an AR based philosophy of training. For me, however subjective, that’s kind of a win.
Does this mean that you’d take a 2020 5.0 over a 68 fast back. Maybe, at least 5 days a week and leave the 68 for the weekends while understanding and accepting the limitations inherent to it’s dated design. Better answer perhaps is get both especially now that HK is listening to the civilian market for the first time since, well, ever as far as I know.
Sorry for the ramblings. Hope that helps. Lol
