Zimmerman trial?

Please...the only thing that got OJ off, was a jury with a prejudicial racial filter.

this area is just NW of Corry Station/Naval Hospital and has a lot of military residents, both permanent and temporary. I guess we'll find out more at 6pm.

I have heard the Judge say "I have the jury sequestered..", and I have heard her say things like, "let the jury go home". Does anybody know if they are locked up in a hotel/motel somewhere, or do they get to go home at night. She constantly warns them about watching the news, texting, social media, etc. every time they leave, so I was just wondering.

I think they are sequestered and when she says let the jury go home it means go back to there rooms. That is one reason she wante'd court today so they wouldn't be sequestered for 4 days before back in court.

Last witness for the prosecution was Travon's mother that testified that the voice on the 911 recording was her son's. Smart move by the defense as they began by calling Zimmerman's mother that said that the voice was her son's. That immediately leaves the jury with conflicting mothers that said that the voice was their son's voice. To me that makes it a was to the mothers on the jury. More credence that there is "beyond reasonable doubt" that Zimmerman cannot be convicted "as charged".

BTW, Travon's brother, when questioned under cross examination, admitted that he could not tell if the scream for help was his brother.

I think Zimmerman's uncles story of how he first heard the scream was devastating to the prosecution. He said he was on the computer in another room and his wife was watching tv. He wasn't paying attention to her or the tv and working. Then he heard the scream and came rushing into the room saying that's George! Is he ok?

He was caught off guard and not asked to listen to it and recognized his voice. Plus he used to play with his cousin and scream and yell all the time around his uncle.

Story isn't fool proof but it sounds solid.

Deersniper you are wrong about him being in another room. He was in the same room as the TV and had his back turned to it working on the computer. I watched the trial and saw him on the stand... That is how missinformation gets started on the net... One quwstion I would have liked asked is how much time he had spent with George since the uncle was in the military and am pretty saur he had to move around alot and wasn't with him the whole time he was growing up to know what he would have sounded like screeming for his life. Of course both mothers would say it was there son screeming thats just part of the trial. As far as him hearing him screeming around his cousins I sure missed that part. Might have been in the bathroom.

So Zimmermans folks weren't allowed in the courtroom because they might get called as witnesses?

The judge ruled no experts allowed to testify on the "source" of the scream?

HJ, I think you are correct. However, Martin's mom was there through the whole trial. Why was she allowed to testify then? That seems like a double standard to me.

They explained that and I THINK the reason was is that it was Z that was on trial and not T and Z mom was part of the defence. It is part of some of the legal mombojombo that goes on. It does seem like a double standard but its all the legal stuff that goes on in a trial like this.

Hugh there was an expert in the courtroom and he did testify. He said they needed at least 30 seconds of voice from them to figure out who it was. Now I think it had to be 30 seconds of voice in a constant conservacon without paws in it. In other words 30 seconds of words.I am not sure if he said anything about the quality of the recording from the 911 call or not.

I was watching it as well and I do believe he said he was not in the same room as his wife. And he did say he heard Zimmerman playing with his cousins as a boy yelling like little boys do. I could be wrong about the other room but you could be wrong about being in the same room. We are here to discuss the situation and what we have heard and seen. Not to accuse others for starting rumors.

The defence attorney needed to ask T's momma, ---> how do know that was him that screamed,have you ever heard him scream like that before ??? If so, when and under what circumstances ?? His momma is as obvious a lier as that fat ol' gal that couldn't speak AMERICAN English.

I am not accusing you or any one else about starting a roumor and so far this has been a god discusino on the trial. If you were watching think back and he said he was working on the computer in the same room as his wife with his back to the tv and heard the scream turned around and said to his wife thats George. He said he didn't know it was on the news and reconised it as George. As I said I didn't hear anything about him playing with his cousins and I was just stating I didn't hear it, not that it wasn't said. Thats something else for me to think about and like I said I wish I knew how long they were around George while he was growing up as the uncle was on active duty and you would think that he would have moved alot during Georges childhood. I am not disputing the uncle thinks it was George because he seems to be an honest man. I didn't say you were starting rumors I said misinformation. If you can find a clip I will gladley retract my statement about where he was. I'm not good enough to find that stuff on the net and if I could I dont know how to move stuff around.One thing I don't want is for anyone to start mud throwing like starts at times here... Just have good discusions.

This tells me all I need to know... Street thug or a responsible young soldier who died for our country. O's choice shows his true "colors" and who he counts on for his socialist agenda...
I'll be so thankful to see some honest, competent leadership in our country again. Surely better choices will be made in '14 and '16 - I pray for it!
