    Getting about 2 a day right now out of 3 hens, the younger 10 need another month or so before they start

    The golf balls help stimulate them starting.. ceramic eggs or other similar shaped items work too

    Nice! I have a few ceramic eggs in the nest boxes right now, late October they'll be 6 months old

    rat snake ate my fake wood egg once, it killed him....
    I've always thought about that, a snake swallowing one of the fake eggs. Time will tell I guess.

    I’ve had a couple of snakes that couldn’t get out of the pen because they had swallowed a biddy or two. Getting caught in the chicken pen is usually fatal.
