I had an Otra Vez when I got home. May have another before an early bedtime. Gotta leave my house at 3:30am tomorrow.

My pants were getting a little tight around the waist. Only light beer and bourbon for me for a while.

Better than me. I just moved to OWB carry when my pants got tighter. Thanks to Jogan I didn't have to lose weight!

I just looked in my beer fridge. I am completely out of drinkable beer. I do have about 12 Corona Lights but I can't choke down any light beer. The lights came from those 12 packs of mixed Mexican beers. I guess I can use them for cooking.

Made my own 6 pack at Fresh Market this afternoon. On a Abita Wrought Iron IPA right now. Not bad. Not a big IPA drinker but I could get this again.

Went to the pig in Fairhope for steaks. Stopped by the brewery for a pint. Picked up two crowlers of Hop Hogan. Good stuff if you like IPA's.

BTW, a crowler is a 32oz can that they fill.

I think TennJeeo was telling me about those the other weekend. I need to get down there.

I like it, only downside is it isn't resealable like a growler. You have to drink it one sitting. But it's the equivalent of two pints. Never had trouble drinking that.

We all need to get together again there sometime.

Gonna be out of town next weekend. Anytime after that is GTG. Probably have to find a weekend without a match to get the Vols fan there.

Had a Trappist Westvleteren last night for the first time. Made by monks in Belgium and comes in just a plain bottle with no label. Pretty tasty but have no idea where to buy it.

I'm a bit late to this thread and didn't read through the whole thing, but have any of you guys tried Lazy Magnola Pecan Brown Ale? It's brewed over in Kiln, MS. I'm normally not a beer drinker. I prefer Captain Morgan's Special Reserve or Jack Daniels, but this stuff is just plain old good! As far as I'm concerned, it's the absolute best I've ever had with an oyster po'boy on a hot day over in Biloxi.. Could just be the atmosphere of the place where I first tried it, but I'm a fan.

I think they call it the southern pecan. It's damn good.
