Made my first trip into Gander Mountain today. Meh......it was OK. Ammo prices didn't seem reasonable. All I can base that on is what I pay for 9MM WWB a Wallyworld. 100 round bulk pack was $35.00. I asked about .22lr, got the usual lecture about the mfrs running behind. Only .22 they had in stock was some Ely (don't remember specs) for about $15/50 round box.

Looked at pistols. Used, beat up Glock 27 with the finish worn off for $499.

Doubt I'll go back in.

Yea that's about what you can expect at those places, I used to go to basspro to look for ammo but I don't even consider it anymore unless I get a gift card or something.

Not at all. The one in Destin has more fishing stuff, but the one in Spanish Fort is bigger overall and has MUCH more hunting/gun stuff.
