I just gathered up the pieces and parts to make a steam injection rust blue stack. Steam rust blue will allow me to refinish and match 1900-30 blued guns.

found some .22's at a yard sale, he had other ammo too. funny how folks really have no clue sometimes, or hope you don't. got the 22's at normal store price, but he had a bunch of 7.62 tula and federal 9mm he would let me have for a good deal 50 cents each. it is still there if anyone wants some.

I was very tempted to head over there this morning, but I took advantage of the nice weather and got some Jeep stuff painted. One of these day's I'm gonna button everything up so I can sell the darn thing.

But then you'll have to change your name. Hmmm... I'd keep it.
Wait, can we change names? Oooh! Can I be TexasCaddy1612? Lol.

Finally met up with Nate to get my lower. Finished 2 builds today my 5.56 Recce rifle and a 300BO build. I changed out the short barrel on my 5.56 and went to a 16" 1/7 twist carbine gas system. Put my 300 BO in my pistol configuration. Hopefully going to the range tomorrow to test them both out.

went to range today with my father-in-law and nephew. Had a good time. Shot 40rnds through the 6.8 and maybe 100rds through the .22lr AR. Had some troubles with the Chiappa upper'd AR .22lr a while back. All problems solved by replacing the polymer lower with a mil-spec piece. 100% reliability again, so nice.

Rearranged the safe yesterday using rifle rods to help hold the AR's upright. No more stacking/leaning them on each other for storage. Kicking myself for waiting so damn long to make it happen.

I took my little sister to the range this afternoon. Had some fun with my new bolt action 22, my Walther P22 has some failures to fire, but I think that's because the firing pin hole was all gunked up. It's past due for a good cleaning. She didn't like my AR's much because of the gunpowder/gas smell. She also shot my CZ 75B and my S&W Shield.

We had a good time and madeSICC88 came over for a little while and shot his AR and tried out my new Hipertouch 24C trigger.

Took my boys shooting. My 9 year old shot a Walther P22. My 12 year old shot my Sig P239. Came home and cleaned them both.

Yea it was a good little trip, that trigger is great and is added to my list of crap that I will hopefully he able to get in the near future. Both the rifles he let me try out were great.

And I'm glad I only brough a rifle. TennJeeps sister was putting together better groups then I did the other day, might have to pay TennJeep for some lessons...
