I got a Bolt action in 7.62x39 cal. So a bolt gun in AK47 cal. I'm super excited!! Almost as cheap to plink as .22lr. It's a badass gun!

Bought my first gun safe today. Couldn't afford one of the mucho bucks ones so I had to buy a turd. I did find the most highly polished turd that would fit both my budget and my space. Real happy about it!

Ended up with a Field & Stream (Stack On) from Dick's in Pensacola. Got a good discount by applying for their credit card, which I will immediately pay off and destroy. I know it's not a premium safe, but for my needs it filled the bill. I sure feel better about keeping a crack head out at least.

I could be wrong, but I think it does both.

Yes, both. I have done pan lube, tumble lube and conventional lube prior to powder coating. Pan lube and conventional lube sizing work fine but still leave fouling in the barrel that requires moderate cleaning. Tumble lubing, for me at least, produced nothing but a leaded mess regardless of sizing and amount of alox. Powder coating has left me with a very clean, lead free barrel even after 300 rounds in a session. I have used it on loads from 9mm to 45-70 with great success. It also allows me to push lead rounds to velocities approaching that of jacketed without leading. And it comes in designer colors.

Speaking of which, this is fresh from the oven.

looks good bohica! I don't see any pink ones?! ive been using jacketed load data on .357 and .45 auto powdercoated cast. don't have a chrony so not sure on velocity but haven't had any problems. I did work up to it though. powdercoating is where its at. im looking for a 30 cal mold that will work for 300 bo and 30-06 so I can get into cast boolits in rifles too.

I bought a stainless PT99 last week that turned out to have a pretty worn/tarnished trigger. The next day, I bought a LNIB PT92, that came with an extra wilson combat short reach trigger.

After work today I put the spare trigger in the PT99 and even though the trigger is black it looks fine in the stainless gun, since it already had other black parts (hammer, mag release, sights...)

I wish but I didn't have time to get it sighted in. Played with it some and seems really cool.

My Vortex Crossfire II Deadhold BDC 6-18x44mm AO scope arrived from Sportsmansguide, as well as a Leatherwood Hi-Lux 4-16x44mm Tactical Scope. The Vortex is for my 16.5" Rem. 700 SPS that should be here today or tomorrow and the Hi-Lux is for a buddy (as trade) for replacing all my coil packs and plugs in my F150. Watched a lot of videos on bedding a scope, and today the Weaver 20MOA 1 piece extended mount will be here, 500rds of assorted ammo, muzzle-brake and I can't wait to get this 700 setup. 65a1cacb273413d9b678d838e41925d8.jpg
