What gun stuff did you do today?

I was finally accepted into a shooting club I have been waiting to get into for almost 2 years. They only take 50 members for their private range and an opening finally came up. Today, I spent my first day on the new range ringing a 12" steel plate at 300 yards with my AR and shoot steel plates with the XDM. It was a blast.

Finished my .300 Blackout tonight.

**side note** my girlfriend walked in to my gun room as I was putting a good amount of Froglube on all my guns... she took a deep breath, looked around, and said

"I wish they made Froglube scented candles."

And walked out. Lol.

I bought a "Replacement " pistol, you know, one of the ones that you always regretted selling . Only thing is that this is not the first time. I am a "revisit" addict. However, it is NEVER the same, you peak at the sale, and it's down hill from there. Perhaps some things are better left to memories, just like the ole Clint black song, or Garth Brooks , whatever it was? wow did I just say all that out loud? I could have just said " I bought a pistol."

Poured 300 147gr for my 9mm. Will be powder coating in another hour or so and loading them tomorrow.

Does powder coating eliminate the possibility of leading? Or just negate the need for lube on cast bullets?
