Nice choices with the B5 SOPMOD and APEG grip.
Thanks! They feel great. I'm also really liking the BCM VFG, it's my first and that slight angle helps lock it right into the shoulder when used as more of a hand stop. On my way to Academy for an FDE Pmag. I had also just locked down the rear sight and realized that the DD Micro mount will require me to remove it. Ugh.

I have wanted to try the Larue grip for a while, I really like the slimmer grips though like the K grip and slim line magpul does.

The Larue grip is a handful, but very ergonomic. The DD rear sight, on a particular type of setup, is the best available.

Picked up a Shield 9mm today. Got it for $350 at Outpost in Spanish Fort.

Really wanted the glock 43 but after playing with that and the XDs the shield just made more sense. The trigger is pretty heavy but I can get the Apex trigger and still be in it less than the glock.
Got to go take it to the range in the AM.

^^^ good choice. Put about 500 rounds through it then decide if you need to drop the dough for the APEX kit

Yea I'm sure it just feels way heavier then it is because of the trigger I had in the XD.
Need to get a holster now too.

I had some gun parts delivered today, only to find that a few critical parts weren't included. I called the company I ordered from and they are overnighting those parts. Sucks that they weren't with the shipment, but good of the company to try to make it right as quickly as possible.

I also sold an extra AR handguard I had laying around.

Today I also sold all kinds of extra stuff on flEaBay. It should be enough to buy another Aimpoint on Tuesday.
I've also got my stuff ready for tomorrow. Only decision is which Vickers to run. Hmmm.

Took the daughter to Bay County Gun Range and put some lead down range. We fired the wife's Walther P22 and my 1911 (only I fired that one), my Remington 7600 in .270 Win., my Polish underfolder, and Remington Nylon 77. All in all it was a great day.

Shot the new suppressor today. AAC 7.62 SDN-6. Shot it on the blackout and 556 pistol. Awesome ringing the steel at 300! Good day overall!

How did it do on the AR pistol? Hearing safe?

For about 20-30 rounds I shot through it, it was good to go. I think any kind of sustained fire i would need some hearing pro. But it was definitely worth the cost and wait time. Especially for the 300 BO. I downloaded a decibel app for my phone and it was around 120-130 for the blackout. With just the normal noise out there it was averaging between 70-80. I'd love to put it at the 300 yard mark and see where the decibels are at there.

Took my new shield out to the range this AM. Ran a couple hundred rounds through it, ran perfectly.
Just about broke my thumbs trying to get the last rounds in those little mags the first couple times, they were stiff as hell. After a couple reloads they seemed to loosen up quite a bit.
    Happy with it so far.

Just came back from Santa Rosa Shooting range...had to re-zero the AR with the new magpul BU Sights....also verified that you can just change out the 40 barrel out of an M&P 40 FS with a factory M&P9 FS barrel (obviously with a 9mm Mag). Ran about 50 rounds from the 40...field stripped the M&P and changed out to the 9mm barrel then ran about 150 rounds without any problems...

Took my wife to the range for our anniversary. She's a really good sport! Shot a bunch of 9mm, .380, and .22 LR. Just an all around good day spent with my wife. She missed me every time. I couldn't be happier.

Raced with the boys, tried to focus on my overall speed and reloads, but accuracy went down the drain. Imagine that. Lol.

Also scored an Aimpoint for one of my DDs. Now I need to find a Larue LT150 mount for it and it'll be set.
