Going to pick up my AK from Orion Gun Works in PC. Had to get the sere replaced because she had a strong tendency to want to bump fire. Then I am looking forward to going to the range....this weekend. Maybe. (Sigh)

Refinished (rust blued) a 1911 Colt Series 70 gun for a guy that helps me with tooling every once in a while. I get half way through a job and remember I did not take a picture, Oh, well.

Got some parts in today to convert my Colt Pin gun to IDPA legal. The fitting begins.

Bought a Ruger Mark 1 circa 1973. Internals are pretty good with strong rifling. The blue is a bit worn with minor pitting at the end of the barrel. Shoots straight and feels great. I got this to help train up the wife and daughter. As Florida is being negligent in issuing my CCW in a timely fashion I will have to wait till Friday to pick it up. Such a retarded law... Chomping at the bit to re blue this thing. Came with a brown leather holster too.

I built a 20" AR upper together this evening from parts I had laying around. I'm not sure why, I don't know when I'll ever shoot a 20" AR.

You dick, you said you would sell that to me.. Just kidding. Post some pics. What handguard do you use on it?

Main reason I didnt get it is because I would have had to get a longer handguard, I think I would need a 15in to go on a barrel that long.
    I only have 13s.

I'll still sell it to you.

I put a 15" Matrix Lavi handguard on it. Stuck it on my FDE lower, since it was the easiest to get to.
